PlayoutWhere do I enter a promo or invite code?
It depends on the code. Promo codes go in the pack shop on the Passive tab, under "HAVE A CODE?". A friend's invite code goes on the Invite friends page, under "Got an invite code?".
Playout has two kinds of codes, and each has its own place in the app. Promo codes are redeemed on the Passive tab, and invite codes from a friend are entered on the Invite friends page.
Promo codes
Promo codes come from places like our Reddit community or social media. They give rewards such as Monnie packs.
- Open the Passive tab at the bottom.
- Scroll to the pack shop and find HAVE A CODE?
- Type the code and tap Redeem.
The app confirms right away when your code is redeemed. The Passive tab unlocks after a few first steps, so if you don’t have it yet, keep playing and it opens up.
Invite codes from a friend
An invite code is your friend’s username.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right and open Invite friends.
- Find Got an invite code?
- Enter the code and tap Redeem.
Enter it within 7 days of installing Playout, once per device. Joining with a code starts you with 2× earnings for 48 hours, and you and your friend unlock rewards as you play. See inviting friends.
