Your username is your invite code. Pick a username, share the code from the Invite friends page, and your friend enters it within 7 days of installing. They start with 2× earnings for 48 hours, and you both unlock rewards as they play.
Inviting friends to Playout takes a minute. Your username is your invite code. Share it with a friend, they enter it within 7 days of installing Playout, and you both start unlocking rewards as they play.
How to invite a friend
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right and open Invite friends.
- If you don’t have a username yet, tap Choose username. Your name becomes your code.
- Tap Share your code to send it, or copy it.
- Your friend installs Playout from Google Play and enters your code under Got an invite code? on their Invite friends page.
What your friend gets
Your friend starts with 2× earnings for 48 hours. They enter the code within 7 days of installing, once per device.
The Friend Pass
As your friend plays, rewards unlock step by step through a few milestones:
- your friend joins with your code
- your friend takes their first steps in the app
- your friend earns a set amount
- your friend earns a larger amount and keeps a daily streak going
The amounts are shown in the app. Rewards include a 2× boost for 48 hours, a challenge token, a streak shield, a silver booster pack, a 2× boost day and a badge. Everything your friend earns after entering your code counts.
Recruiter Level
A friend counts as qualified once they’ve earned their first small amount. Each qualified friend adds +5% to your coin boost, and more qualified friends raise your Recruiter Level.
You can also send a friendly nudge from the Invite friends page to cheer a friend on.
