Candy Cannon Sort takes the ball sort puzzle and hands you a cannon. Instead of moving balls from tube to tube, you fling glossy candy straight into glass tubes, and every tube you complete erupts in rainbow confetti. It is free on Google Play, made by Loyalty Gaming, the studio behind Playout’s own games, and it has no in-app purchases. If you want to earn money playing a sorting game, open it through Playout: every level you clear adds coins to your balance.
How Candy Cannon Sort plays
A cannon sits below a row of glass tubes, loaded with a candy ball. Drag back and let go to fling it, or simply tap the tube you want. Put four balls of one color in a tube and it shouts SWEET, erupts and empties. Clear every color and the level is won; run out of room in the tubes and the level is over.
Two details turn this into more than aiming. First, the chute: you can see the next balls coming, so you always know what you’ll be firing a few shots from now. Second, the eruptions. When a tube blows, it shakes the wrong-colored balls off the tubes next to it. Those balls fly home into a matching tube, or back into your cannon. One good shot can complete a tube, knock loose a ball that completes the next one, and roll on into GREAT, AMAZING and SUGAR RUSH combos.
Most levels take under a minute, and the next one starts right away. There are more than 1,000 of them across five candy worlds: Lollipop Lane, Gumdrop Grove, Caramel Canyon, Bubblegum Bay and Minty Peaks. New twists arrive as you go, such as purple Mystery Candy that only shows its color when it reaches the top, rainbow Jawbreakers, Tricky levels and Sweet Shot bonus levels. Undo, Hammer and Shuffle are there for tight spots.
How earning works when you play Candy Cannon Sort through Playout
- Install Playout from Google Play. There is no sign-up form; your account is tied to your phone.
- Open Candy Cannon Sort on the Playout shelf and install it from there. Playout confirms the install, usually within a few minutes, and from then on your levels are linked to your account.

- Watch coins become money. Every few hours, the coins you collected turn into real money in your balance.
- Cash out as PayPal cash or a gift card once you reach the minimum, which is low and shown in the app.

The full loop is on how Playout works, and the payout options are on rewards.
Tips to earn more in Candy Cannon Sort
- Aim for the eruption next door. Fill a tube that sits beside tubes holding stray balls. The blast sends those strays home, so one shot does the work of several.
- Keep one tube nearly empty. A spare tube is your safety net when the chute hands you a color that has nowhere to go.
- Save boosters for the tricky levels. Undo, Hammer and Shuffle shine on Tricky levels and Mystery Candy boards, where one surprise color can block a tube.
- Do your daily 5 here. Finishing 5 levels in any game each day keeps your daily streak going, and every streak day permanently raises your coin boost. With levels this short, that takes a few minutes.
- Rotate games for the Live Event. The weekly Live Event gives the first collectible on each game for fewer levels than the next one on the same game. Pair Candy Cannon Sort with another color sort like Hexa Pop to fill the board faster.
