Spare time rarely arrives in neat blocks. It’s two minutes while the kettle boils, ten minutes before a meeting, or an evening with nothing planned. Playout lets you earn money in your spare time in all of them. You play free casual games on your Android phone, every level you finish adds coins, and every 4 hours Playout turns those coins into real money in your balance. You cash out to PayPal or a gift card when you’re ready.
The trick is matching what you do to the time you have. Here’s how.
If you have two minutes
Two minutes is enough to collect what Playout has been building for you.
- Empty your Monnie vault. On the Passive tab, your Monnies drop coins into a shared vault, even while the app is closed. Tap Collect, wake any sleepy Monnies, and the vault starts filling again. See Monnies and the vault.
- Claim what’s waiting. Finished challenges, Live Event items and friend rewards all wait for a single tap on Claim or Collect.
- Send a gift. Open your friendlist and send each friend a free gift. If you both send one on the same day, you start a gift streak.
- Play one quick level. Most levels in Hexa Pop and Candy Cannon Sort take under a minute.
If you have ten minutes
Ten minutes is the sweet spot for your daily streak. Finish 5 levels in any game and the day is locked in. Every streak day raises a coin boost that multiplies everything you earn, and the boost is permanent: it’s tied to your best streak, so it stays even if the day count restarts. See the daily streak.
Fast, snappy games make those five levels fly by. Crown Crush has short one-thumb levels, and Jelly Jam flows straight from one parking lot into the next.
If you have half an hour
With a bit more time, open the Challenges tab. Each daily challenge asks for a set number of levels in a specific game. Tap Start, play, and come back to Claim a ticket. Collect a full set and you unlock the dice roll, where each die multiplies a base coin amount. Challenges reset every day, so it’s worth claiming what you finish. See daily challenges.
The challenges are spread across different games on purpose, which is a nice way to discover something new on the shelf, like Domino Blast or Bolt Out.
If you have a free evening
A free evening is when Playout’s bigger rewards come into reach.
- The Live Event. A weekly board where finishing levels in each listed game earns items. Collect enough by the end of the week and you win a share of the prize pool, paid into your balance. The first item on a new game takes the fewest levels, so spreading out pays off. See the Live Event.
- The Arcade. A daily skill mini-game with a prize for reaching the day’s goal. Every run pays coins along the way. See the Arcade.
- A longer puzzle. Settle in with Mahjong Smart or Mines & Meows, the calm, thinking games on the shelf.
Earn money in your spare time, then cash out
When your balance reaches the minimum, tap it on the Home tab. Minimums are low, set per currency and shown in the app. Choose PayPal and enter your email twice, or pick a gift card such as Amazon or Google Play. The reward email usually arrives within minutes.
It’s a fun bonus for time you’d spend on your phone anyway. However much spare time you have today, there’s something in Playout that fits.
